Music Gateway connects you with industry pros

Music Gateway

It’s famously difficult to get noticed in the music industry. Talent isn’t enough these days, you have to put yourself out there in the right way. If you’ve already tried sending out demos, posting YouTube clips, and trying out for America’s Got Talent, it’s time to get smart.

Music Gateway offers a different approach. It’s a cloud storage platform on which you get 1TB of space to organize all your music in one place, with a variety of tools designed to assist budding artists.

My original song was chosen to be featured on the popular Netflix series, Bloodline — Mike Goudreau, Musician

This space is just the beginning. Music Gateway has a team of sync licensing professionals. They’re dedicated to getting you representation and putting your sound in front of music supervisors, broadcasters, ad agencies, and clients around the world.

It’s a community too. You can connect with other creatives, and get access to business opportunities or job postings relevant to your dream career. You can browse companies, pitch demos and receive feedback from professionals.

Music Gateway

Such strong assistance in pursuing your goals doesn’t usually come cheap, and this 1TB Music Gateway package usually sets you back almost $650 per year. We’re pleased to report that there’s a huge promotion running right now, giving you the chance to get one-year access for just $39.99.

Looking long term, you can pay $79.99 for lifetime access. It’s not a great expense for a shot at immortality, especially split between band members.

This promotion ends on Wednesday, so move quickly if you want to take advantage. Hit the button below to find it.

Best of Android Reader’s Choice voting: Xiaomi Black Shark vs. Oppo R17 Pro

Editor’s note: skip down the page if you’re looking for the next matchup, and to enter the giveaway!

Hello Android Authority readers!

It’s my pleasure to announce that while we’re finishing up testing for our annual Best of Android series, we’re going to be launching a Reader’s Choice award. We need YOU to decide which 2018 phones are the best, crowning one handset to reign supreme. An internal poll decided the seeding order, and all matchups were determined using a 24-unit bracket. This means that the most popular phones here got a first-round bye, but any phone has a chance to unseat these mobile devices head-to-head. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page to cast your votes, and to enter our giveaway — the more you vote on our matchups, the more chances you get to win one of three winning phones!

24 phones enter, one remains after a month of head-to-head competition.

Every day, we’re going to be updating our Best of Android scoreboard with the winners from the previous day’s polling. Check back here every day for a new head-to-head matchup, and to see how badly your phone beat the competition!

Once a final winner is determined, it’ll earn the coveted Android Authority Reader’s Choice Award. While we can’t guarantee that this is going to be the best smartphone of all time, the bracket competition is a fun way to blow off some steam and do what we came to Android Authority to do in the first place: argue about phones.

Vote on our social channels, too!

Matchup #5 results: Asus ROG Phone crushes the Vivo X21

2018 has been the year for gaming phones, and that trend is really what pushed the Asus ROG Phone well ahead in the poll, knocking out the Vivo X21.

This is a lot of fun, and I’m proud of our readers. I know that it’s very easy to care a whole lot about smartphones — myself included — and the tone in the comments has been encouraging! But I’ve been seeing some nastiness in some social channels. Chill out man, quit gettin’ mad at user polls.

Matchup #6: Xiaomi Black Shark vs. Oppo R17 Pro

Our next bout pits the reasonably priced Xiaomi Black Shark gaming phone against the colorful and elegant Oppo R17 Pro. Do you go with the fully-specced Black Shark which looks like a phone meant for an all-day gaming session or the moderately-specced R17 Pro that which looks like it was meant to belong in an art gallery?

Why you should vote for the Xiaomi Black Shark:

Xiaomi Gaming

The Xiaomi Black Shark is the company’s gaming phone and despite its mid-range price tag of ~$479, this device holds a punch. Not only does it back the latest Snapdragon 845 CPU and 6 or 8 GB of RAM, it also includes a large 4,000mAh battery that will let you game for hours on end.

Why you should vote for the Oppo R17 Pro:

The Oppo R17 Pro continues Oppo’s innovative efforts with an in-screen fingerprint sensor, triple cameras, and two batteries for faster charging. If you can get your hands on one, it’s a fantastic device that’s packaged in a beautiful and well-crafted design.
