N-Tech projector is smart, 4K-capable, and even does 3D!

Looking for the best projector money can buy? We have a good list of our favorite options, which will definitely feature the N-Tech in the future. This projector comes with plenty of high-end features, a modular design, and a price point that is hard to beat.

Other featured crowdfunding projects:

There is plenty to be loved about the N-Tech projector. For starters, it checks all the major boxes to be considered a high-end device. It can handle 4K UHD resolution at 1,500 lumens, and even does 3D. It is also portable and has a battery that will last 7-8 hours. And thanks to its modular design, the unit is super easy to throw in a bag and carry around.

The manufacturer makes it easy to pick and choose which modules you want to use. The battery and speaker system come in separate modules, and setting it all up is as easy as stacking the modules on top of each other. Speaking of audio, the 12W speaker is said to offer great multi-directional surround sound with 90 Hz bass.

Every portable projector needs independence from sources. The N-Tech is its own source, as it runs Android 7.1 and has the whole Android app portfolio at its disposal, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity. The UI can be controlled with the included remote or app. It also comes with on-board storage, which means you can just download whatever media you want to consume. Of course, you can also connect with your smartphone via Bluetooth, or plug into the HDMI port.

It is also comfortably priced at as low as $475 when you back the company’s Indiegogo campaign. That is a great price considering its closest competitor is likely the XGIMI H1, which goes for $799 and has inferior specs.

LG’s next smartphone, codenamed Judy, to land in June

  • The follow-up to the LG G6 will reportedly launch in June.
  • Codenamed “Judy”, the flagship smartphone is rumored to have some cutting-edge specs.
  • This will be the first phone to launch under LG’s new release schedule of “When the time is right.”

In January this year, right after CES 2018, LG Electronics dropped some surprising news: the team in charge of the LG G7 (or whatever the follow-up to the LG G6 will be) had stopped all work to “review the new product from scratch.” After this bombshell, the company announced it was abandoning a yearly smartphone release schedule, instead releasing phones on its own terms and pace.

Today, smartphone leaker Evan Blass gave us all an update on the next LG smartphone. Codenamed Judy, the latest flagship is reportedly scheduled for a June release date.

Editor’s Pick

Blass is usually reliable when it comes to news. However, this is still a leak, not an official announcement from LG, and should thus be taken as speculation and nothing more.

That being said, Blass gave some more details on the next flagship. If what he says is true, the next LG smartphone will have the following specs:

  • 6.1-inch display, 18:9 ratio
  • Snapdragon 845
  • 64 GB internal storage
  • 4 GB of RAM
  • Dual rear cameras
  • IP68 protection (water, dust, and impact resistant)
  • Stereo speakers
  • HDR imaging
  • Wireless charging

Interestingly, Blass says that LG is using something called “MLCD+” for the display. If so, this would be one of if not the first phones to hit the market with this state-of-the-art display technology, reportedly capable of 800-nit brightness while consuming less battery power than traditional IPS LCD panels.

Once again, none of this is confirmed until LG drops the official word on Judy in June. But for now, take a gander at those specs and let us know if you’re excited about Judy’s arrival!
